A sculptor, a painter and a photographer walk into a library full of designers. To meet the other artists part of Glitch Library Artist Talks: a series of presentations from artists that work with, around or just love books, where they share their practice and instigate idea sharing.
The Artist Talks series gets artists and designers in the same room to share, debate, get inspired and see how their practices can intersect or inform each other. Concept, executions, audiences, communication – nothing will be left untalked.

A pleasure to welcome Lucian Bran, whose self-reflexive photographic series focus on the medium’s contribution to the material culture of global and local geographical imagination. His book, Borrowed Territories, published by Galeria Posibilă in 2015, goes to Brașov at the sites where Hatfield & McCoys was shot, a TV series about two confronting families right after the Civil War, asking questions about time, space and identity. Lucian Bran (b. 1981) lives and works in Bucharest. A graduate in Photography at the National University of Arts, Bucharest, his interdisciplinary approach to landscape photography uses cynicism and sentimentality to subvert the ideological constructions shaping how we see our place within the societal world.

Suzana Dan imagines and materializes worlds in images and words. She loves all kinds of books and will come to Glitch Library to speak to this love, what books have influenced her, but also about procrastination, the future, how was NAG 17 years ago and much more.
Suzana Dan’s professional life is split between painting and her cultural practice, managing Rezidența9 for the last 8 years, and having founded & managed Noaptea Albă a Galeriilor / NAG for the last 18 years.
